Rising Prices: Avoiding Wastage

Our prices have been rising and rising over the past months. That is why we have introduced our Precise Order Service, hoping this will allow customers to avoid wastage and so control cost.

But the truth is we have been unable to register The Fabric Press as a stand-alone activity and so all our trading is subject to the full impact of 20% VAT charges.

On top of that, the price we pay for our raw cotton has increased steadily over the past months with some fabrics as much as 16% higher.

Each order requires a manual preview and dedicated studio time to overview printing. After that comes the colour-fixing in the steamer, laundry to pre-shrink it, drying and ironing.

In light of all this we cannot contain costs further. But we did feel we owed you an explanation.
